Yesterday, I sent postcards to my state and federal Senators and Representatives as part of https://www.womensmarch.com/100. I told them:

“I want to live in an America where:

-We use renewable energy, have clean air and water and preserve natural wonders. (I grew up inspired by the woods of Wisconsin. My family drives electric cars and subscribes to 100% Xcel Windsource®)

-We are free from gun violence. (Five friends of friends have been shot dead in the last two years.)

-Everyone who works is paid a living wage. (My PCAs only make $11 an hour. That’s unfair!)

-We welcome refugees and help them build new lives. (I volunteer once a week in an ESL classroom. See http://bit.ly/1B6w4YH)

-People like me who live with significant disability receive the support they need to thrive at home. (Quadriplegic due to MS, I participate in Medicare, Medicaid, CADI waiver and MA-EPD.)

Please join me in my vision and legislate accordingly. Thank you!”

Now, I invite you to take action. What would you ask your legislators?
